Most people think they know how to wax a car. They get some wax, put it on a buffer, and go to town. But there's a right way and a wrong way to wax your car. If you're doing it wrong, you could be causing more harm than good. If you've ever waxed your car, you know that it's not a quick or easy process. It takes time, effort, and if you're not careful, it can be easy to make mistakes. But don't worry - we are here to help! In this article, we give an expert insight on the do’s and don'ts when choosing and using the right car wax.
1. Choose the right wax. There are different types of wax, and not all of them are created equal. For example, Carnauba wax is a natural product made from the leaves of a Brazilian tree. Another is Graphene Infused Ceramic. This new technology in the car detailing industry is sweeping the globe because of its strength, durability and the ability to make your car look as good as new.
2. Prep your car. Before you start waxing, you need to make sure your car is clean. Make sure the surface is as smooth as possible. It should not have any debris, sand, or anything that will prevent a smooth application of the wax. Otherwise, you'll just be trapping dirt and grime under the wax. Wash your car with a mild soap and water, then dry it completely before waxing.
3. Apply the wax. Put a small amount of wax on a clean, soft cloth. Rub it into the paint in a circular motion. The circular pattern will allow you to distribute the formula evenly across your car's surface.
4. Let it dry. Once the wax is dry, you can buff it off with a clean cloth. An extra measure to smoothen the surface even more.
5. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. After picking the right product and applying the formula correctly to your car, it is now time to take it for a ride. An exuberant and vibrant vehicle, cruising at 60kph, with your windows down. You will be the talk of the town.
